AT&T won’t sell Pixel 9 Pro Fold

Earlier today, Google officially unveiled the Pixel 9 family, which includes the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. However, if AT&T is your preferred carrier and you’re interested in the company’s second foldable smartphone, we have some unfortunate news for you.

For some reason, AT&T has chosen not to sell the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, even though it previously offered the original Pixel Fold and will carry all other Pixel 9 devices. Unfortunately, the carrier has not explained the reasoning behind this puzzling decision.

This stance could impact Google’s sales of the foldable in the US, as AT&T has nearly 72 million postpaid subscribers, and many Americans typically purchase their new devices through their carriers.

If you don’t mind purchasing your Pixel 9 Pro Fold unlocked from another source, you will probably be able to use it on AT&T. However, be aware that the carrier has not yet confirmed whether it will certify the device for use on its network, so the situation remains uncertain.

Poco F7 and Redmi Turbo 4 specs leak

For those who aren’t AT&T customers, there’s good news: both Verizon and T-Mobile will be offering Google’s new foldable device. It will be available starting September 4, with a price beginning at $1,799.
