Leaks indicate that the Galaxy Z Fold 6’s specs will be similar to the Fold 5, but it will come with a higher price tag. This raises questions about why Samsung is asking for more money for the device. A recent leak may provide some insight.

The cover screen of the Fold 6 appears wider compared to the Fold 5, but according to a previous rumor, the width has only increased from 57mm to 60mm. This is why, when the glass protector of the Fold 6 is placed on the Fold 5, it fits almost perfectly.

Samsung has cleverly widened the screen without increasing the width of the phone by adjusting its shape and reducing the bezels. Additionally, the screen has expanded from 6.2 inches to 6.3 inches.

The phone is thinner as well, measuring just 12.5 millimeters when folded, which is slimmer than the 13.4mm Fold 5. It is also rumored to be 14 grams lighter than the previous model.

Additionally, the phone will feature an enhanced camera module design, despite rumors suggesting otherwise, the camera specifications will remain the same as the Fold 5. The video shows that the Fold 6 appears wider than the Fold 5 when unfolded, which was anticipated given its 132.6mm width compared to the Fold 5’s 129.9mm. The inner screen displays a noticeable crease, but it is unlikely to be bothersome when the phone is in use.
