Google One app may simplify Pixel users’ free trials

At present, Google provides different durations of free Google One trials based on the Pixel model, ranging from 3 months of the 100GB plan to 6 months of the 2TB plan. However, there may be an even better offer on the horizon for Pixel 9 Pro users, with the chance to receive a free year of Gemini Advanced and 2TB of Google One storage. Google is simplifying the process for Pixel owners to access free trials of Google One, potentially including a complimentary year of Gemini Advanced with 2TB of storage for those who purchase the Pixel 9 Pro. This exciting development was uncovered by examining the code of the Google One Android app, which suggests a forthcoming in-app feature to help users claim their promotions.

In order to increase user engagement and possibly turn them into loyal subscribers, Google appears to be working on a new feature for the Google One app. This feature will enable users to access a “Check for offers” button in the app settings, giving them the ability to view any unused promotions they may qualify for.

Although the specifics of the check’s operation remain uncertain, it is evident that Google is actively developing a solution to simplify the process of claiming free trials and promotions. This advancement could provide significant advantages for Pixel users, particularly with the possibility of a valuable Gemini Advanced offer.

The new system is currently not in operation, however, a sneak peek of the interface was obtained by manually activating it. This suggests that Google is actively developing the feature and hints that it may be launched soon.

While the APK teardown offers valuable insights, it is crucial to keep in mind that the highlighted features are still in the development phase and may not necessarily be made available to the public. Nonetheless, the evidence indicates that Google is actively enhancing Google One promotions to make them more accessible and advantageous for Pixel users, which can only be advantageous.
