Infinix Zero 40 Series Brings Premium to Masses

Infinix may not be a major player on a global scale, but it holds a significant presence in India. The company was reportedly gearing up to launch its first smartphone in the United States back in April, but for some reason, that launch never took place.

Regardless of what the future holds for Infinix in the US market, the company is actively expanding its range of affordable Android smartphones. The latest addition to Infinix’s lineup is the new Zero 40, available in two versions: 4G and 5G.

While the most apparent distinction between the two models lies in their names (4G and 5G), the key difference in pricing is due to the chipsets they use.

The Infinix Zero 40 5G features a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset, whereas the Infinix Zero 40 4G is powered by a different Helio G100 processor. Additionally, the 5G model comes with 12GB of RAM, while the 4G variant is equipped with only 8GB of RAM. Fortunately, both phones offer options for either 256GB or 512GB of internal storage.

The specifications for the remaining phones are largely the same, featuring a large 6.74-inch curved AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate (the 5G model offers a 144Hz refresh rate).

Additionally, both phones are equipped with triple cameras that share the same setup: a 108MP Samsung ISOCELL HM6 main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP depth sensor.

They also boast impressive 50MP front-facing cameras for high-quality selfies. The Zero 40 models are powered by 5,000 mAh batteries that support 45W wired charging. Moreover, the 5G model includes 20W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging capabilities.

The Infinix 40 4G will retail for approximately $280, while the Zero 40 5G is priced at $395. The 4G version is available in Misty Aqua, Blossom Glow, and Rock Black, while the 5G version comes in Violet Garden, Moving Titanium, and Rock Black.
