Oppo’s next flagships to feature MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset

Both MediaTek and Qualcomm are anticipated to release new chipsets this fall. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 and Dimensity 9400 will be the most powerful offerings in their respective lineups and will therefore be reserved exclusively for flagship smartphones.

According to reliable leaker Digital Chat Station, the Oppo Find X8 and Find X8 Pro will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 processor, indicating that the Oppo Find X8 Ultra will feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 CPU. Oppo is predicted to be one of the first companies to incorporate both chipsets. The Chinese company is anticipated to launch its new Find X8 series by the end of the year. Unlike other smartphone manufacturers, Oppo plans to utilize both the Dimensity 9400 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipsets in its flagship models.

Furthermore, DGS reports that all three Oppo Find X8 series phones will come equipped with periscope lenses and the distinctive Glacier Battery, which made its debut with the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro. Previous reports indicate that the Find X8 series will boast impressive displays, with the Find X8/X8 Pro and X8 Ultra featuring 1260p and QHD+ screens, respectively.

All three phones in the Find X8 series have glass panels on the back, which is surprising given that the earlier X7 series included faux leather options.

Oppo’s upcoming flagship models are set to be offered in four distinct colors: black, blue, pink, and white. However, it is rumored that the Find X8 Pro will be available in only three colors: black, blue, and white.

The Find X8, Find X8 Pro and Find X8 Ultra are anticipated to debut in China sometime in October. They are also expected to be released in other countries shortly after their launch in China.
