OnePlus Buds Pro 3 colors and specs leak before reveal

OnePlus is not finished releasing accessories, not by any means. The next earbuds from the company, the Buds Pro 3, will be arriving sooner than expected. Earlier this year, OnePlus introduced the OnePlus Buds 3 and now they are planning to launch a Pro version in the upcoming weeks. While OnePlus has not released any teasers for the Buds Pro 3 yet, we already have a good idea of what to expect from the upcoming earbuds. SmartPrix has obtained official images that show the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 in two color options: Midnight Opus and Lunar Radiance.

Similar to the Nord Buds Pro 3, the premium OnePlus Buds Pro 3 earbuds come in an egg-shaped case with a leather-like finish on the front. The case includes a pairing button and a USB Type-C port. The earbuds have a glossy finish and appear to have been developed in collaboration with Dynaudio. The case dimensions are 6.5 x 5.2 x 2.6 cm and it weighs 61 grams. In general, the Buds Pro 3 has a sleek and fashionable design.

Transitioning to the specifications, it is reported that these premium earbuds will include a dual driver configuration with an 11mm woofer and a 6mm tweeter. Each driver is equipped with its own DAC and is compatible with the LHDC 5.0 audio codec, providing a potential bitrate of up to 1Mbps and supporting 24-bit/192 kHz audio.

OnePlus fans will be pleased to learn that the Buds Pro 3 will include noise cancellation support, a feature that is expected given that these earbuds are meant to be the company’s premium option.

In that respect, the noise cancellation is anticipated to improve to 50 dB compared to the Buds Pro 2 (49 dB). A standout feature of the earbuds will be the Dynaudio EQ, providing preset EQs tailored to various music genres.

Additionally, the Buds Pro 3 will have dual connection support, enabling users to connect the earbuds to two devices simultaneously, regardless of the platform. Although the price has not been revealed, it is anticipated that they will be more costly than the OnePlus Buds Pro 3, which had an initial price of approximately $145.
