Opera is one of the pioneering companies that have fully embraced AI features. The Norwegian browser is now introducing new features powered by AI to its app users on a regular basis.

The most recent Opera announcement concerns the company’s Android browser, which recently received a significant update incorporating Image Generation and several other AI-related features.
After testing in beta, Opera has chosen to integrate image generation with Aria in the most recent version of the Android browser.
The updated feature utilizes the Imagen2 image generation model from Google and is now accessible to all users.
In order to utilize the new features, users need to request Aria to generate their desired content, after which the browser AI will create it.
If the generated images do not align with the original description, they can be further edited. Moreover, users have the option to copy, save, share, or set the AI-generated images as their device wallpaper.
The most recent Opera update includes AI technology in the newsfeed, offering Daily Roundups in addition to image generation. This means that AI is utilized to compile a collection of the most relevant news podcasts that may pique your interest.
Sadly, Daily Roundups is currently only accessible in the United States. However, the upside is that the new feature includes AI-powered audio playback, enabling users to listen to articles while on the move.
Finally, version 83 includes an enhanced search view in News, enabling users to easily locate their desired country. Additionally, support for 30 new languages has been added to provide access to more localized content.
For football enthusiasts, Opera has recently introduced a range of new features tailored for EURO 2024, such as a live score carousel with detailed statistics, match notifications, and a specialized newsfeed.
