Realme has recently launched two new Android devices in India: the P2 Pro and the Pad 2 Lite. The P2 Pro is set to be available on September 17, while the Pad 2 Lite does not yet have a confirmed release date.

The P2 Pro is a typical mid-range Android smartphone, featuring attractive premium-like capabilities, including a robust camera, a good display, and a reliable battery.

As a mid-range device, it is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset as its core component. The P2 Pro is offered in three configurations based on memory capacity: 8GB/128GB, 12GB/256GB, and 12GB/512GB. One of its standout features is the dual-camera system, which consists of a 50-megapixel primary sensor (Sony LYT-600) with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens.

The sizeable camera module also contains an LED flash and a sticker. The Realme P2 Pro boasts a large 6.7-inch curved OLED display with FHD+ resolution, a peak brightness of 2,000 nits, a 120Hz refresh rate, and protection from Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. The small notch accommodates a 32-megapixel front-facing camera.

This mid-range device is powered by a 5,200 mAh battery with support for 80W SuperVOOC fast charging.

Notably, Realme has incorporated a 4,500mm² vapor chamber within the P2 Pro to help prevent overheating during extended gaming sessions. The entry-level variant of the Realme P2 Pro (8GB/128GB) is priced at Rs 22,000 ($260 / €235), while customers can also choose the 12GB/256GB model for Rs 25,000 ($300 / €270) or the 12GB/512GB model, which retails for Rs 28,000 ($330 / €300).

Shifting our focus to the Realme Pad 2 Lite, this budget-friendly tablet doesn’t particularly stand out. It features a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, with options for 4GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card. The tablet boasts a 10.95-inch IPS LCD display with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate.

On the rear, there is an 8-megapixel main camera, along with a 5-megapixel front-facing selfie camera. The Pad 2 Lite is powered by an 8,300 mAh battery that supports 15W charging. Additional highlights include quad speakers and Realme UI 5.0, which is based on Android 14.

While Realme has yet to announce the release date for the Pad 2 Lite, the company has confirmed that it will be available in Space Gray and Nebula Purple. The 4GB/128GB variant is priced at Rs 15,000 ($180 / €160), while the 8GB/128GB model retails for Rs 17,000 ($200 / €180).
