The Redmi Pad SE 8.7 4G and Redmi Pad SE 8.7 have been launched in select global markets as the latest tablets from the Chinese brand. Both versions feature the MediaTek Helio G85 processor, along with over 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. They also sport an 8.7-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate.
The tablets feature a 6,650 mAh battery that allows for 18W charging through a USB Type-C port. Additionally, both the Redmi Pad SE 8.7 4G and Redmi Pad SE 8.7 come with dual speakers that support Dolby Atmos.
The Redmi Pad SE 8.7 is priced at approximately GBP 119 (around Rs. 13,000), while the Redmi Pad SE 8.7 4G costs about GBP 149 (around Rs. 16,000). Both versions come in three color options: Aurora Green, Graphite Grey, and Sky Blue.
The tablets can currently be pre-ordered in the UK, with sales starting on August 21. The Redmi Pad SE 8.7 and its 4G version run on HyperOS and feature an 8.7-inch HD display (800x 1,340 pixels) with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a peak brightness of 600 nits.

The display is certified by TUV Rheinland for minimal blue light emission and flicker-free operation. Both tablets utilize a MediaTek Helio G85 processor and offer configurations with more than 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of expandable storage. On the back, both the Redmi Pad SE 8.7 and its 4G version are equipped with an 8-megapixel camera, as well as a 5-megapixel front camera.
The device features Dolby Atmos-certified dual stereo speakers. For connectivity, it includes Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, FM radio, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. Additionally, the Redmi Pad SE 8.7 4G supports 4G networks and has dual SIM functionality.
