The Galaxy A06, one of Samsung’s upcoming entry-level smartphones, was previously mentioned in our report last week when Samsung launched the support page for the device.
High-resolution renders showcasing the phone from various angles have been leaked online until Samsung officially announces it. Those who are acquainted with the Galaxy A05 will not be surprised by the upcoming Galaxy A06, as it features a similar uninteresting compact design. According to the source of the renders, the Galaxy A06 is said to measure 167.3 x 77.9 x 8 mm, making it slightly less bulky than the Galaxy A05 (168.7 x 78.2 x 8.8 mm). It is assumed that the Galaxy A06 will also be lighter than its predecessor.
Unfortunately, specifications also remain consistent as the Galaxy A06, which was recently seen on Geekbench, is equipped with the same MediaTek Helio G85 chipset as the Galaxy A05.

The similarities between the two phones extend beyond just the chipset. The Galaxy A06 is expected to have 6GB of RAM and a 5,000 mAh battery, mirroring the specifications of the Galaxy A05. It is rumored that the display will also be the same size, with a 6.7-inch HD+ display anticipated for the Galaxy A06. According to recent reports, the Galaxy A06 appears to be quite similar to the Galaxy A05. While details about the camera are still unknown, leaked renders suggest that the Galaxy A06 will feature a dual camera setup similar to the Galaxy A05.

When comparing the Galaxy A05 and A06, the only noticeable difference is that the latter is pre-installed with Android 14. Despite the fact that most information about the Galaxy A06 is unofficial, the phone does not appear to be particularly impressive, even compared to other devices from Samsung.
