Following in the footsteps of its siblings, the S25 Ultra and the standard S25, today we have the first leaked renders of the Galaxy S25+. These images are based on CAD designs, so some fine details may not be accurate; however, they do give us a good idea of what to expect in January.
Unfortunately, the design is rather uninspiring. While it is easily identifiable as a Samsung device, which benefits the company’s brand recognition, the issue—one that is not new—is that it resembles any other Samsung phone. Perhaps the flagship line shouldn’t share design elements with devices priced at $200?
Samsung certainly disagrees. What we’re observing is largely the same design, just with some improvements here and there.
The bezels are slimmer, the camera rings have minor differences, the colors will likely change, and the texture on the back might be different as well. The frame is flatter, and that’s about it. This model is definitely not for those who favor bold, unprecedented designs.

A previous rumor suggests that the S25+ will retain the same 4,900 mAh battery as its predecessor to avoid overshadowing the prestigious Ultra model, which has a 5,000 mAh battery.
The S25+ will be equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC, expected to be announced in October. In some markets, it may feature Samsung’s Exynos 2500 instead (or possibly not).
The phone is anticipated to have 12GB of RAM and potentially 256GB of base storage. Let’s hope for that. It will also have the same display size as the S24+.
The S25+ will measure 158.4 x 75.7 x 7.3 mm, making it slightly shorter, narrower, and thinner than the S24+. According to the source of these renders, the S25 family is not expected to be officially announced until January 10, with the reveal likely occurring around mid-January.
