Samsung is preparing to unveil yet another mid-range smartphone in India, the Galaxy M55s.
In recent weeks, a significant amount of information about the device has been leaked, but one detail remained unknown until now: the launch date.
Samsung has now confirmed that the Galaxy M55s will be introduced in India on September 23. However, the pricing details are still under wraps.
Given that the phone shares many specifications with the standard M55 model, it is reasonable to estimate its price to be around Rs 25,000 ($300 / €270).
It’s worth noting that the Galaxy M55s appear to be quite similar to both the Galaxy M55 and Galaxy F55, leading us to believe it is intended to replace those two models.

While there has been no information about the chipset powering the Galaxy M55s, prior reports suggest it will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, the same as the other two models.
According to the listing, the Galaxy M55s showcases “the most premium double-design pattern” and will be available in two colors: Thunder Black and Coral Green.
It is also likely that Samsung will offer multiple versions of the Galaxy M55s based on RAM and storage, similar to the Galaxy F55 and Galaxy M55.
We anticipate the announcement of models with 8/128GB, 8/256GB, and 12/256GB configurations, although this is merely speculation.

In terms of specifications, Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy M55s features a 50-megapixel “no shake” main camera with Nightography and Dual Recording capabilities, along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera. Additionally, the phone boasts an impressive 50-megapixel selfie camera.
An Amazon India listing also indicates that the Galaxy M55s is equipped with a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED display, featuring FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. This display is identical to those found on the Galaxy M55 and F55, suggesting that the Galaxy M55s is essentially the same device.
Very helpful post for me. Thanks
