YouTube Multiview feature launches soon, but with a catch

YouTube has recently revealed a number of enhancements designed to make the upcoming NFL Sunday Ticket season more appealing to football enthusiasts. The most notable upgrade is the launch of the Multiview feature within the YouTube app. Previously, Multiview could only be accessed on television screens or via the YouTube TV app. According to Google, this feature will be available on the standard YouTube app starting with the new season in September. However, it will be limited to NFL Sunday Ticket subscribers and will only be accessible to users in the United States.

Alongside its expansion to YouTube, Google has announced various improvements to Multiview. For instance, NFL Sunday Ticket subscribers will now be able to customize their viewing experience.

In the past, users were restricted to setting Multiview options; however, the revised version of this feature now allows users to mix and match any combination of two, three, or four NFL Sunday Ticket games. Furthermore, Google has stated that members of the YouTube TV Base Plan can search for their desired Multiview streams that showcase local NFL games on specific stations.

Alongside Multiview, YouTube rolled out several important new features and improvements, such as the option to connect Yahoo Fantasy accounts to Fantasy View. Consequently, users of both NFL Fantasy and Yahoo Fantasy will have the capability to manage their teams within a single application.

It is also worth mentioning that Fantasy View on YouTube TV can be accessed on both televisions and mobile devices. Additionally, Google has revealed that later this season, Fantasy View will be available on mobile devices, tablets, and the web for viewers watching NFL Sunday Ticket games through YouTube.
