Galaxy Tab S10 Keyboard Gains a Key You Might Never Use

If recent leaks and rumors are accurate, Samsung’s newest tablets are on the horizon, but what can we expect from them?

Not much, according to even more rumors. However, there’s a new key being introduced in the keyboard that covers the AI key.

This has been a contentious feature since it appeared on certain laptops. Similar to the Copilot key found in Windows, Samsung is reportedly planning to include a Galaxy AI key for its tablets.

This key will provide AI assistance at your fingertips, whether you need to conduct a search, respond to a question, or generate a summary. If you’re not interested in AI assistance and never will be, you can think of it like the Insert key on traditional keyboards—personally, I never use it, and I’m a professional writer!

Naturally, some individuals may be upset by the mere existence of the Galaxy AI key. AI has sparked controversy since ChatGPT rose to prominence in 2023, and I anticipate that many users will vocally criticize the Galaxy AI key, labeling it as an unnecessary feature that nobody requested.

According to previous Galaxy Tab S10 leaks, the new devices will have very similar specs to their predecessors. For example, the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra is supposed to come with the following specs:

• The device features a 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display,
• up to 16 GB of RAM,
• an 11,200 mAh battery,
• 13 MP and 8 MP rear-facing cameras,

However, Samsung may choose not to promote AI as one of the primary reasons to upgrade their latest tablets. Personally, I have a strong appreciation for AI; it offers much more than what many people perceive as just a “word predictor.” Nonetheless, I understand why some individuals are against it, particularly given the numerous jobs it has displaced,
