Vivo V40e Specs and Price Leaked Ahead of Launch
Vivo has a number of new phones in development, including some intriguing flagship models, but the V40e is anticipated to be among the first to be released.
This smartphone is expected to be Vivo’s thinnest yet, featuring a 5,500 mAh battery specifically tailored for the Indian market; however, it is likely to come with a hefty price tag, according to recent reports.
While we already know that the V40e will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 processor, many of its key specifications have remained unclear until now.
According to SmartPrix, the Vivo V40e is set to be a premium mid-range device, thanks to its display, camera, and battery capabilities.
The report indicates that the Vivo V40e will feature an impressive 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits.
Additionally, it will be powered by a substantial 5,500 mAh battery and will have an IP65 rating for water and dust resistance.
Another noteworthy aspect is its camera setup, which is rumored to include a dual-camera configuration with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 main sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens.
Furthermore, the Vivo V40e is expected to sport a remarkable 50-megapixel front-facing camera. The phone will come in two memory configurations: 8/128GB and 8/256 GB.
Unsurprisingly, it will run on Funtouch OS 14 based on Android 14 right out of the box. The Vivo V40e will also support 5G connectivity, which may be a crucial factor for some consumers.
In terms of pricing, the Vivo V40e is expected to be priced between Rs 20,000 ($240 / €215) and Rs 30,000 ($360 / €320). It will be available in two color options: Monsoon Green and Royal Bronze.
As mentioned in our earlier report, the Vivo V40e is anticipated to launch in India by the end of the month. It is unlikely that Vivo will hold a dedicated event for the Vivo V40e, so it will likely be introduced quietly in the country very soon.
