Due to the fact that the devices expected to be revealed at Samsung’s upcoming Unpacked event are already well-known in the tech world, many trustworthy sources and experts are now focusing on the company’s future Galaxy products. This includes the anticipated S25 lineup set to launch in early 2025, the rumored Z Fold 6 Ultra expected to debut in late 2024, and the somewhat less thrilling Galaxy S24 FE.
This new addition to the Fan Edition lineup is expected to be officially announced sometime in the fall, following the release schedule of its predecessor. It was recently featured in a reliable leak and is now back in the spotlight as a presumably affordable high-end device.
Not all color options equal
Having worked in the display industry for over 25 years and disrupting the launch parties of major tech companies such as Samsung for several years, Ross Young is widely recognized and respected on social media and websites like PhoneArena.
But if there’s one thing Young has always done better than other leakers, tipsters, and industry experts, it’s definitely revealing the entire color palette of an unannounced smartphone. In the case of the Galaxy S24 FE, that palette is said to be as follows:
- Black;
- Gray;
- Light blue;
- Light green;
- Yellow.
How would the Galaxy S23 FE’s color options differ from that? Let’s list them out as well and allow you to decide for yourselves.
- Mint;
- Cream;
- Graphite;
- Purple;
- Indigo;
- Tangerine.
Indeed, “graphite” is essentially synonymous with black, mint and light green may bear some resemblance. However, “light blue” stands apart from purple and indigo, gray seems less appealing compared to “cream”, and yellow could potentially substitute tangerine if it boasts a vivid and lively hue.

However, we are still disappointed by Samsung’s rumored plans for the S24 FE’s color options. Hopefully, the company has a few more colors up their sleeve that they have not revealed yet, possibly for a limited release in the autumn.
Ross Young expects that out of the five color options, black will have the highest volume and be the easiest model to purchase when the Galaxy S24 FE is released. Samsung’s decision to prioritize black is not surprising, as it is a timeless color. However, it is uncertain if the demand for the yellow color option will surpass Samsung’s supply.
Refined design with more screen space
This is a brief overview of the Galaxy S24 FE, assuming the leaked renders are accurate. Without a full list of specifications, it appears Samsung will distinguish this device from the 6.4-inch Galaxy S23 FE by offering a larger 6.65-inch display with thinner bezels.
The design as a whole is not likely to undergo any drastic changes, as the top smartphone vendor is focused on maintaining what already works well and making slight improvements to enhance the user experience in subtle yet noticeable ways, as they typically do.

The S24 FE is expected to come with a larger screen and a battery that is bigger than 4,500mAh. It is also rumored to keep the S23 FE’s main 50MP rear camera and will be equipped with various Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Exynos 2400 processors in different regions.
As of now, there is no concrete information regarding the release date or price of this device. However, based on past patterns and logical reasoning, it is likely that an official announcement will be made in September or October, and the Galaxy S24 FE may be priced at around $600 in the US for the base model with 128GB storage.
