Realme has been teasing its new high-end phone, the GT 6, dubbed as the “flagship killer,” for a considerable amount of time. Today, the company officially unveiled the device and provided more information about its specifications that were already known.

Realme is introducing its "flagship killer," the GT 6, to global markets.

The GT 6 stands out as one of the few smartphones featuring Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, placing it in a distinct category known as semi-flagships.

Despite this, the Realme GT 6 is well-equipped in terms of specifications, but pricing is a different story. In Europe, customers have the option to buy the Realme GT 6 for prices ranging from €600 to €800, depending on the model.

The price of the same phone in India ranges from Rs 35,999 (€400/$430) to Rs 39,999 (€450/$480), representing a significant price difference. However, if you are set on purchasing Realme’s latest phone, here is what you can expect in terms of hardware.

Firstly, there are different variants available for purchase based on the amount of memory. The most affordable model has 8/256GB, while the other two versions come with 12/256GB and 16/512GB, respectively. The Realme GT 6 features a impressive 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 6,000 nits peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. Internally, the phone is equipped with a large 5,500 mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging, ensuring that it will retain 80 percent of its capacity even after 1,600 charge cycles (equivalent to four years of daily charging).

Another selling point of Realme’s flagship killer is the triple camera. The GT 6 comes with a 50-megapixel main camera (1/1.4-inch Sony-LYT808 sensor), which features OIS (optical image stabilization) and PDAF.

A second 50-megapixel telephoto camera (f/2.0) is included too, which features a 1/2.8-inch sensor. Finally, Realme’s GT 6 has a third 8-megapixel (f/2.2) ultra-wide camera on the back. On the front side, the GT 6 features a 32-megapixel selfie snapper with fixed focus.

Software-wise, Realme GT 6 runs on Android 14 and features a bunch of AI-related features for camera and photo editing, which is why the company opted for Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset.
