Earlier this year, the iPad Air lineup received a slight upgrade with the introduction of new 11 and 13-inch models showcasing the Apple M2 chip, although they still came with Liquid Retina IPS LCDs.
According to a report from South Korea, the Air lineup is set to receive an OLED display upgrade in 2026.

Samsung Display is said to be the main supplier for the upcoming iPad Air screens, which will feature single-stacked OLED technology instead of the Tandem OLED seen on the newest iPad Pros.

A report from last year also supports the 2026 timeframe for the iPad Air OLED and hints at the possibility of an iPad Mini featuring an 8.7-inch OLED display.
