Now is the time for the official launch of the CMF Watch Pro (2), which comes with a variety of features and benefits. Users can anticipate a very reasonable price and a plethora of features.

Before we go through them, let’s have a quick refresher. CMF, which is Nothing’s budget-friendly sub-brand, aims to introduce the parent company’s stylish and unique products to a wider audience with a twist. CMF was launched at the end of the Summer of 2023, and in September of the same year, three products were introduced: a smartwatch, wireless buds, and a fast charger.

Another round of CMF products has now materialized:

  • The CMF Phone 1
  • CMF Buds Pro 2
  • CMF Watch Pro 2 are all products offered by the company

CMF describes their Watch Pro 2 as a versatile and stylish smartwatch with an interchangeable bezel design. It features a 1.32-inch AMOLED always-on display with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels, while the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic (43mm) has a resolution of 432 x 432 pixels.

The initial version of CMF’s smartwatch featured a 1.96-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 410 x 502 pixels. It was equipped with built-in GPS and offered real-time monitoring of heart rate and blood oxygen saturation. The smartwatch also offered various workout and sports tracking capabilities, in addition to the ability to make and receive phone calls directly from the device, similar to the latest model.

What else is there?

In my humble opinion, the CMF Watch Pro 2 offers more than 100 watch faces with customizable options, including both dynamic and static options. That is fantastic!

What is even better is that the CMF Watch Pro 2 supports interchangeable bezels available in various colors and shapes:

  • Bezels that are dark grey and curved
  • Dark grey and flat
  • Ash grey and curved
  • And ash grey and flat

These look like this:

The new CMF smart timepiece offers support for over 120 sports modes and can automatically recognize 5 sports. Additionally, it continuously monitors heart rate, blood oxygen saturation (SpO₂), and stress levels throughout the day.

You have access to features such as setting training goals, tracking your heart rate, and warm-up exercises to help you succeed!

Users have the ability to make Bluetooth calls, manage music, and access intelligent features such as receiving notifications, remotely controlling the camera, and checking the weather. Designed for those with an active lifestyle, it is equipped with IP68 water and dust resistance and has a battery life that can last up to 11 days. Additionally, it includes a rotating crown for interacting with the watch.

The CMF Watch Pro 2 is compatible with iOS 13 and higher as well as Android 8 and higher. This affordable watch does not have its own operating system, such as Google’s Wear OS. As a result, the software experience may be considered “basic”, but given its price, some compromises were necessary.

The 305 mAh battery is expected to provide 11 days of normal usage, or 9 days of heavy usage. This translates to approximately 45.8 days in power saving mode, and 17.4 hours of continuous Bluetooth calls or 25 hours of continuous GPS usage. Some users have reported getting seven to nine days of battery life with constant heart rate monitoring and the always-on display mode, which is quite impressive.

In my opinion, that seems like a great offer, especially considering that the CMF Watch Pro 2 is priced at $69 in the US. If you decide to buy an extra bezel and watch strap set, it will cost you an additional $19. It remains a good value for what you receive!

According to the official CMF announcement, products will be available for purchase on cmf.tech and through retail partners. The announcement also states that prices will be listed on the website. Pre-orders begin today, July 8, and open sales will start on July 12.

Carl Pei, CEO of Nothing, said:

The CMF Phone 1, CMF Watch Pro 2, and CMF Buds Pro 2 exemplify Nothing’s distinctive method of blending creativity, functionality, and customization in their design. These items demonstrate our dedication to bringing enjoyment to a mundane sector, and I eagerly anticipate the response from consumers.
