As anticipated, Realme has introduced its latest mid-range smartphones, the 13 5G and 13+ 5G. These two models join the recently launched 13 Pro and 13 Pro+ in Realme’s lineup of mid-range devices.
While the new Realme phones appear to be slightly less powerful than the Pro series released last month, they are still quite intriguing, particularly the Realme 13+ 5G. Before delving into further details, let’s look at the pricing and availability for customers. It’s worth noting that the Realme 13+ 5G is offered in four colors: Speed Green, Victory Gold, and Dark Purple, whereas the standard model is limited to Speed Green and Dark Purple.
Both devices will be available for sale beginning September 6.

What sets the Realme 13+ 5G apart, at least for the time being, is that it is the first smartphone to utilize MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 Energy chipset. This cutting-edge SoC is built on 4nm technology and consists of eight cores: four Cortex A78 cores running at speeds of up to 2.5GHz and four Cortex A55 cores operating at up to 2GHz.
Additionally, the chipset includes a Mali-G615 graphics processing unit (GPU) and a MediaTek NPU 655 (neural processing unit).

Aside from that, the Realme 13+ 5G is a fairly typical mid-range smartphone. It features a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 2,000 nits, along with a dual-camera setup (50MP Sony LYT-600 + 8MP ultra-wide).
In contrast, the standard Realme 13 5G model has the same display but a slightly different camera configuration: a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor.
Additionally, the Realme 13 5G is powered by MediaTek’s 6300 chipset and includes a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. Both devices are equipped with 5,000 mAh batteries, but the Realme 13+ 5G supports 80W fast charging, whereas the Realme 13 supports only 45W.
